Mobilising Climate Finance for Oceanic and Coastal Resilience

In collaboration with Silvestrum Climate Associates, 4Climate has prepared an ocean finance working paper for the Green Climate Fund (GCF) about how GCF climate finance instruments (grants, loans, equity, guarantees) can be mobilized to finance oceanic and coastal resilience, showcasing promising and innovative financing pathways for real world impact.

The working paper aims to offer tools to facilitate the application of GCF Accredited Entities for mobilizing GCF support and scaling private finance for resilient coastal communities and healthy oceans. The work has been funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and we are grateful for the support of the GIZ and the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
